Presenting Studiewiki

Last week we’ve launched our latest project, Studiewiki, a wiki website where students and alumni can read and contribute about their study, student life or anything around it. The projects language is Dutch. For this project I’ve worked together with Christian Versloot.

The software behind Studiewiki is the well-known wiki software Mediawiki (created and used by/for Wikipedia), on top of which I added a customized version of the mediawikibootstrap. The site is served by a lighttpd with a Varnish caching server, for some extra speed. For now, this setup seems to be faster than I expected.

Of course, some social media accounts are also created. You can find us on Twitter and Facebook.
